The Father's Love!

In early 2020, I was fortunate to get a glimpse of the Heavenly Father’s love. As a young girl, I experienced my earthly father’s love. He was such a great example of a father. I believe most of you have had great experiences with your fathers.  Interestingly, even with such grounding, I still had insecurities. There were always times in my life when I second-guessed myself. I sought validation from p eople. I had so much fear in me. Growing up in church also didn't help much. I mean, I spoke positive affirmations, and quoted scripture about my circumstances but still had this deep-seated fear in me. For some time, I questioned God's love for me and then began to indeed believe His love was for others but not me.  This one time, I sat down to have a conversation with one of my good friends. She told me a few truths that had always been right under my nose but I had not known. One of them is a scripture we quote quite often.  Proverbs 23:7...as he thinketh in his heart, so...

Hurray…I have finally completed my book!

We are screaming! It is quite exciting, to say the least. My very first book; “ Lessons from My Father ” has finally been completed. The journey has been long and yet quite interesting.  11 years ago, I embarked on a writing project. Shortly after my father died, I searched my heavy and broken heart for a solution to overcome the grief. My pain just seemed to increase day by day.  As I passed by elderly men while walking on the street, I couldn't help but question why my dad had to die earlier. He could have been alive today for me to enjoy his company as an elderly man. I met my friend’s fathers too and envied my friends. I always told them how blessed they were to have their fathers alive. I was selfish! Well, “A Father’s Journey” was written as a little unpublished booklet. The whole idea was for me to relieve the memories and relive the moments, I did!  I have since expounded on the little booklet, now turned; into "Lessons From My Father."
